HermèsEclipse GM Hair Clip

Q: What size is this Hermès Eclipse GM Hair Clip?
A: This piece measures approximately 11 cm wide and 2 cm high. It is a long, slim hair clip that works well as a statement accessory while still feeling easy to wear. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact dimensions of this item.

Q: What hairstyles does this clip suit best?
A: A clip of this shape is typically best for half-up styles, side sweeps, pinning back a section of hair, or adding a polished finish to a low twist. It is ideal when you want a refined accent rather than a full-hold clip for all of your hair.

Q: Will this hair clip work for thick hair?
A: It can work beautifully on thick hair when used to secure a smaller section rather than the full volume. For very dense or heavy hair, clips of this style generally hold best in half-up looks or decorative placements rather than as the sole fastening for a full updo.

Q: Does this clip stay in place well?
A: Barrettes like this usually hold best when placed flat against the head and closed over a clean, well-sectioned portion of hair. If your hair is especially silky or fine, lightly texturising the section first can help improve grip.

Q: How should I care for this Hermès hair clip?
A: Handle it gently and avoid contact with water, perfume, hairspray, oils, and other chemicals. After wearing, wipe the hardware carefully with a soft dry cloth and store it in its box when not in use. Keeping it away from prolonged moisture and friction will help preserve both the finish and the decorative surface.

Q: What is the condition of this item?
A: This hair clip is listed in Very Good Condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful previous wear. Please review the images and product information for the closest view of its current condition.

Q: What is included with this hair clip?
A: According to the product information, this item comes with a box. If another accessory is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: Is the pattern placement exactly the same on every Hermès Eclipse GM Hair Clip?
A: Not always. Pieces from the Eclipse line are often cut from printed fabric, so placement can vary slightly from one item to another. For this pre-owned piece, the photos shown are the best reference for the exact appearance of the item you will receive.

Q: Is this an authentic Hermès item?
A: Yes. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully checked for authenticity by specialists who assess brand-specific details such as construction, finish, hardware, stamps, and overall consistency. This pre-owned item is sold as an authentic Hermès piece.
